I had just bidded on a canon wp-1 underwater camera and going for snorkelling at the great barrier reef in the end of this year.
i am just wondering which film should i use, do you guys have any suggestion ?thanks

If you are not fussy with quality of photo, then ISO 200 to 400 film speed should do it.

If not fussy, use film not slides. Film (negative) is generally more forgiving.

Since you are snorkeling you will be on the surface where there is lots of light anyway.

What brand? Alamak!!!! Kodak, Fuji, Konica... what ever is mentioned will not go down well with someone for sure. My own bias is towards Kodak, but I also do use Fuji now and again.

I think a good choice is kodak elite chrome ISO 100 or 200 and kodak E100( ISO100).

personally i like Fuji becos of the blue it gives

My slide choices are; for wideangle, fuji provia to capture the mid water blue tone. For macro, fuji velvia to capture the vibrant colours.
