Celebrities I m not too sure but only some of those stars like Zoe
Tay and Fann Wong are the upper class level. Infact I think Zoe Tay earnds more money than her husband. The rest I think they are quite contented with their HDBs or small condos.

Actually there are still plenty of SG girls are ok ones. Just sometimes the influence of the parents wants their daughters to find the best ones. The problem comes in when they wait for too long for a guy and their mind set becomes more independant. So that is when things goes wrong.

So get to know her first. If she is those that wants her own freedom, let her be. Infact we should be happy they are independant as this will lighten the burden on your finiancial side.

Do you know what women is most afraid of in their lives?

1)Marrying the wrong husband.
2)Bear a child who has plenty of illness.

They do not mind if you are not rich, as they will preferred to share the same burden with you all. All they need is somebody to listen to, be by their side and support them.

If you all think looks are important, then you are choosing the wrong path too. Not talking about choosing a dead drop gorgeous gal. We are talking about yourself. Women thinks very differently from men. They do mind if u r shorter than them, fatter than them or have a nerdy looks. As long as you are hard working, be sensitive with their needs and care for her and her family, she will be more than contented.

But these good women are rare and soon to be 'museum pieces'.

From experience, now I conclude before a relationship ever get serious.....the guy in my case should visit the in laws more often, coz the in laws do play a big part in the relationship. Regardless of the common preaching about union of a man and woman...or nowaday two persons. :bsmilie:
Equally important, the person whom you intend to marry in the future. Knowing what you want, what she can offer or not.......dun try to influence him/her lor. If so, then you have not being fair....it should be voluntary.
After all, it is love.....it is supposed to be powerful that one is willing to sacrifice or give up her/his precious time/energy for the other half.
Finally, if he/she not good.....dun procrastinate. Walk away.....a slow death is so much worst than an immediate one.
To wait for a person to change, I feel it is not just impossible...but unnecessarily, coz either party would neber be truly happy.
The reason why so many of us cling on to a relationship is that we hope the other half would change or accept the imperfections.
Give and take is vital....there is no win-win situations all the time, but if the other party always the winner....have mercy on yourself lor. My case, I walked.....even though it was painful. I had already given considerable amount of time. I can answer to my consicence if I do look back.

Just want to highlight.

It's not so much on where to find good/better girl. It is more a matter of are we guy good enough to find one.

If we are good enough , no matter which country, sure can find a good wife.

Just like me , I am still single cos I notice I am not good enough after all to attract girls so just have to bear with it loh. Cannot compliant no good girls in Singapore lah.
