Which CIS ink system is really good for Canon I9950?

hey you're right about i9950, really love everything about it. so far only use originals for it.

Now heres a kicker, not just compatable inks give problems, even compatable paper cause my i9950 to jam. Not sure if that incident leave pemenent damage or not. Hope not. Paper from sepon. hiaz.

Agree with everything (i990 user) but this last bit - if you want to print pictures, lasers are not an option. Not optimized for photo printing - better for graphs and company presentation material, documents, etc. So we're still stuck with inkjets and paying exorbitant prices in the local market. In the US, OTOH, you can get some excellent after-market alternatives. See the printing forum on www.dpreview.com for more on this.

what's the retail now for this model?
I know its a 2year old model, but I got good prints when I send some shots at Canon.
