Funny thing, the other day I was watching the movie Men of Honour on the tele. Makes me think about those NS days.

Not sure if it is propaganda, the soldiers are so commited to military life. Broke the leg, but still "ngeh ngeh" want to serve out as combat-fit to become Master Chief.

Singapore army, I would say that the majority if they get a small fracture in the bone, will "strive" for the PES D.E,F for life!

I mean, dun generalise or stereotype lah. I broke a finger in NS and was downgraded to paperwork. (pes C)

The moment I recovered, I ask the MO for an upgrade. Yes, he look at me with incredible disbelief. Actually ask if I am sure. LOLz

Upgraded by to Pes B. Well good enuff, I just miss the field too much.

I happen to saw one young guy at Bugis, he is about 20yrs old, saw him wearing a 2SIR T-shirt and it shown "10th mono intake"

No offence guys. It's just that the moment you step into the army, they teach you songs that idolises vocations like cook, clerk, driver ... true?

I guess the vocation you are in plays a large part as well.

yah loh...suay to be the mono intake!!! and 41 is teh only armour camp away from 40/42/46 at SOA.
they are at kranji with 3rd guards and 20 SA. Juz next to camp DB.
