Which All weather camera is best to buy now?

Hi,

I am going on to Japan trip soon. I have my own full frame camera and lenses. But I also want to buy a full weather compact camera as a standby light weight camera. Which is best one to buy now and is less then S$800. This is the budget I get from my wife. The excuse is to buy for her and not for me.;p

Any good adv?
