lolz... so is metz flash worth the investment? or i shld stick to nikon cls flash?

I previously was using Nikon SLR, now I am using Sony DSLR but the flash is the same. Metz 54mz4. The flash still works well. Just that I need to change the adaptor for the flash from Nikon to Sony.
:)

I was told by the seller in mass sales thread that the Nissin DI866 will work with cls... I've never personally seen it so i won't know for sure.

the di866 is a high end flash .. something on par with sb800/900 . the di622 is around the sb-600 range.

if you wanan get the metz @ $360, the SB-600 should be around that price too , and the sb600 can be used as slave for CLS with the D90 onboard flash as commander mode.

im looking at the di866 too.. but until ive gotten a positive review.. im saving up first

agree on that. Just buy a house brand one. The first flash will teach you alot about the dfferent things in flash and techniques possibilities. After that, you will be able to make a informed choice on the other units say u r going into strobing.

I too was looking at the di866... But unfortunately when i asked "reddotphoto" regarding that, he couldn't give me an answer then. He only managed to give me the answer today. But i already bought a 2nd hand SB800... The di866 is going for like $410...!!! The di622 was a turn off when there was no lcd. But this di866 looks tempting...
