which 1gb CF to buy for 10D?

IMO, if budget no a big problem,

for speed -> Sandisk Ultra II
for reliability -> Lexar Pro 40X

Sandisk ultra II has a speed of 60X, brought it at $540 abt 2 weeks ago.
AP selling lexar pro 40X at $460.

IMO, the above 2 are more worth to go for it.

Terence, can you tell me which shops to go to in Funan? anyway does the speed of the card also depend on the camera? i am using a canon a80, so is it worth it to get a high speed CF card?

I suggest you save your money and go get a Hagi instead. The faster cards are useful only if you use a DSLR where shutter lag and overall processing speed is not a concern. Prosumer models do not require the performance of the faster cards.

Would anyone be interested in an MO for a 1gb Ultra II? Am thinking of starting one as I need a piece.

The hagi is at least $100 cheaper. So if U have no money, & U don't need the speed, get a cheap 1 instead. Anyway, U can't show off a CF like an L lens. the CF no one can see...

I too second this.

Look, on a 10D, there is not much performance difference (at most around 15%) between the various brands. Check it out yourself. Why splurge on a card that has incremental difference? :dunno:
