where to sell old music cds/ books

hey guys, doing a bit of spring cleaning and i've got a bunch of old books and cds i want to get rid off. hoping to be able to sell them, if not might trash them or give to garung guni..

wondering if you guys might know of a place where i could sell them? last time there used to be those emf (?) bookstores that bought used books..not sure where they are anymore

I believe there are still second hand book stores which take in used books, not forgeting cash convertors

U can try Sunny Bookstore at Fat East Plaza (forgot the Level) 2 I think. Coronation Plaza at Bukit Timah has 2nd hand book stores.
CDs not many places do 2nd hand liao coz of MP3s.

$1 per disk (CD/VCD), must have original packaging. dunno DVD maybe worth more.

Tried getting rid of old books at bras basah but the second book shops cannot offer much for my stuff.
They look for more recent textbooks than slow/non-moving stock like mine

I got $1 / disc about 1 year ago. maybe the price dropped liao. Dunno.

sigh, i got many original CDs but I threw away the case and the paper thingy when I put them in those 100disc albums to safe storage space. now I can only throw the disc away, else I can turn them into a few days of lunch money

i have TONS of dvds at home, i'm too thinking of how to dump them.
but if 50c, seriously, i'll donate to orphanges or old folks home for them to watch.

There are 2 used LP shops in Adelphi, one at the basement near the stairs going down, and the other on the 3rd or 4th floor........maybe they take in CD's, I am not sure
