I thought the prices are fixed by the distributor & are the same across the board, regardless of the shops you bought from?
Anyway, Oakleys can be bought from many outlets, Spectacle Hut, Optical 88 etc

Some shop will still give a little discount if you are a regular or if you buy more.

ah not really.
Oakley is sold at rrp prices worldwide. very tightly controlled, esp in asia.
however u can get them cheaper at duty-free.
if u do get them cheaper at outside shops, either they have already marked up the prices or there's somethign wrong with it.
in any case, as with cameras, do ur research first abt the pricing.

For retailers and shop caught selling it below the recommended prices, they loose the right to sell Oakley. I recalled there were shops that offer discounts and I know I got most of mine at a discounted price but I kept it quiet and not spread it but some idiots did... I lost two shop lobang becasue of that. They no longer selling Oakley. I remember when the Romeo first came out..it was about $580 I got it for $450. Anyway you can't blame the Oakley company for controllign their pricing.. they want to maintain a certain standard and it also mean better profit margin for retailers.
