Lord's is cheaper? When I was shopping around for the Nikon 12-24/f4, I found the price quoted at Lord's to be a bit on the ex- side... but, then again, maybe I dunno the guy well??:dunno:

So, does this mean that the 18-200 is back in-stock in the shops?

I'm now in HK and there are couple of shops along Nathan Road selling this len. Selling @ HK$6000 (~S$1200).

Had a friend just bought new lens and after 3 days he notice that there is a small single white dust in the lens.What should he do,should he go to Nikon service centre ?I am new so I can't answer him.Hope u guys can answer my question.

I guess its just a speck of dust, its unavoidable in lenses even new ones.. U can bring down to Nikon Service Centre, they will clean it for u if under warranty but u run the risk of having misalignment of the lens elements so I guess its not worth it. After u clean liao, it will come back again later also..

Funny people you all are. You're in Singapore, why not just make a call to the shops? I'm sure it's far easier and more accurate than waiting and asking on the forum since I don't think there are much store staff that actually forum (but I may be wrong). :dunno: How I long to make a cheap local call again.

actually it is better for shops if the person who found one in stock to post here. Like that no need to flood the shops with 1001 calls asking for the 18-200VR. IMHO. Actually also paiseh to call shop too often right? Leave name with them also scared that they never call you or call other people first.

Much more convenient to check here. Besides the lens arrive in batches. Once one shop has it, the other shops should have stock in soon right? So we just need one person to post new stock arrival here for everyone

But, I not looking for this 18-200 VR. not interested.
