Where to get Nikkon VR 18-200 lens???

Hi Bros,

This lens seems to be doing a "david copperfield" act, disappearing in the S'pore market as most of the known stores are out of stock, even some stores have many customers putting down-payment and waiting patiently for the dream lens to arrive.

As I will be going out of the country for a holiday, is there any possibility for me to get hold of this elusive lens, I am even prepared to pay a premium to get hold of it.

this is such a convenient lens that not many people would really want to sell it....

unless those who are after quality pics.... then they will go for the nikon trinity... or somewhere there....

otherwise, this lens give above average quality pcis... dun see why many people want to let go of it...

Some larger Best or Harvey Norman may have it. But you have to pay at RRP. Pay with credit card 12 month installment it's probably worth it already. Try asking Best at IMM or Plaza Sing?

If really still cannot find, and if your destination is Japan or US, you might be able to get a piece from there if you get to pass by any shops. I know there are several camera shops at Haneda and Narita airports.

Somehow Lords at lucky plaza seems to have an HUGE supply of nikon lens. Places like MScolor/cathay no stock, Lords will have stock.... :dunno:

Went to Plaza Sing this afternoon and they dont have stock... only got 55-200mm....
BTW, how much is the RRP for 18-200??
