Where to get D70s Kit: Cheapest & can extend warranty

Hello Nikon frens,

Jus Curious, because jus saw it at SITEX, S$1588.. so can consider, but where can i get D70s Kit the Cheapest & can extend warranty?? dun nid to recommend others.. jus this..

1) D70s Kit (Cheapest & can extend warranty)
2) Nikkor 70-300mm (which is the best (in a sense, fastest.. using for sports..)
3) Sigma 70-300mm APO DG MACRO (cheapest price in Singapore?? where?)
4) Spare Batteries..
5) Lens Filter
6) prefer BackPack.. Can put Laptop, school book, and the above..

dun worry.. wont buy both 2 & 3.. its either one.. jus nid advice.. dun advice me on 2nd hand..

If i were you, i would get a D80 body new for around 1590. After which, i would get a 2nd hand AFS DX 18-50 to shoot first for around $100 if got budget constrain. Then sell the lens off for around the same price i bought, and then get a slightly better kit lens such as the AFS DX 18-70 for $250-300.

Why get a new D70s when so many of them can be found in B&S?

The viewfinder and LCD for the D80 is worth the money. 10Mp enables more room for cropping, helpful especially u r shooting sports.

Thats my view.

U can check out the usual places and ask for prices:

In any case I had gd experiences @
Lords (lucky plaza) / TK photo (beach road)

I think u will find the 70-300 f5.6 a bit difficult for sports unless u push the iso to ~800
f5.6 really does not give u much shutter speed to freeze action.

If u really want to shoot say sports in indoor courts, u may instead consider getting a 85f1.8 or even the 50f1.8

for extended warranty you will need to buy from the big retail shops
eg. harvey norman, courts ... ...
but expect to pay list price
