there r shopping centres i tend to avoid.

nowadays, please avoid city square.
i hv close friends who got rob and hear of many accounts too.

the police there...forget abt them

i strongly suggest mee too which can be found in angsana and tebrau city ...offer very reasonable prices....

there is one, "Fotokem" with Nikon sign big big outside, i think the shop located either 2nd or 3rd floor, but the price....:sweat::sweat:

I used to visit Johor quite often with an ex-Police bodyguard. People see us in slippers, umbrella, shorts and ah-pek singlets, siam far far. Yeah, everywhere is dangerous. My friend was robbed in Mac Donald's toilet while peeing, another was robbed on a public bus and another was robbed in broad daylight underneath an overhead bridge (lost his passport too).

My fren also kana rob before. And that person uses a sewing needle to rob my fren. Funny rite. But that person claim that he have Aids. No choice my fren gave all the money to that man.

jus travel straight to the shopping centre u wan to go to and spend ur cash.

Jusco tebrau city(only 2 shops) is pretty ok if u wan to go for cam stuffs.
not sure abt angsana as i tend to avoid going there.

i don understand something, i read from another thread YL Camera Service - Pudu Plaza - Malaysia has cheap deals, but when i log into shutter asia forum to look at their stuffs even the nikon lens on their website, it does not seem any cheaper.

Am i suppsed to go down in person to ask for the quoted price? if so, is it like gng to bangkok night market where you have to try to get a cheaper price?

Hi! City Square still safe to go or any shops near it? Might be heading down next month. thinking of getting either one of the following lenses for my Nikon D5000. any shops to recommend are they cheaper than Singapore?

1) Sigma 18-250mm
2) Tamron 18-270mm

Do they accept other modes of payment besides cash?
Appreciate everyone's advice.
