Those blue and white tape that they use to cordon off the area, anywhere we can get it???

help is appreciated!

get from someone currently in police? :sweatsm:

SKP stationery shops should have. Red and black, black and yellow and blue and white, depending on stocks.

The only diff is that it won't have the words 'POLICE' on it.

Alternatively,

http://www.google.com.sg/search?hl=en&q=police+barrier+tape&meta=&aq=f&oq=

Have to search through as some only sell in cartons, and some sell only to police forces.

Best is not to use the SPF one. Pushing envelopes is great, but not when it could be construed as 'imitating' or misrepresenting the SPF and getting in trouble.

yup tot it might be difficult, want something similar to just portray what they use though
maybe i'll get the plain blue and white one.

the only skp shop i know is at joo chiat..haha will google for more outlets

ebay only sells lanyard

Best is google and phone the outlets first to check if they have. No use waste time.

Actually any bright colour like yellow or orange also can create the same effect. You could even print out the word and stick it on the tape, but do it carefully and keep the tape a bit OOF in your layouts.

Go to a actual crime scene and use a pair of scissors to snip it. :bsmilie:

Another "shocking" series in the pipeline for you I presume ;)

I think police tape in Singapore is an controlled item, please be careful with your sourcing.

the law states that only the police can cordon off an area. the blue-white tapes with 'police' are controlled items in Singapore, so stay clear of those.

you can get the white, red-white or yellow construction cordon tapes from industrial supply hardware shops in the jalan besar area or those specialising in road-works equipment. quite cheap if i remember.

there are yellow 'crime-scene' or 'do not enter' tapes that are used as props i think. those should not be controlled items, but you may need to do some explanation if the police show up.

for the Police Department, they open tender for printers to make those tapes.
For min 500 rolls you can print anything you want ....

i guess i'll got for those without the wordings, or either that, the do not cross ones.

no i'm not doing a cruel shoot but some abstract stuff to symbolise peace and safety.

besides SKP, any other shops to recommend? i have the yellow and black tape, but its literally a tape - adhesive one though.

will be good to have personal recommendations, and yes i'll google of course. LOL
