Hi,
I am new to photo printing at home and bought a Epson R1800 just a month back during the IT show. I have been using A4 Epson Glossy Photo Paper which I think already gives very good glossy prints. Also tried using Inkstation's Glossy Photo paper and found that while results are acceptable, the dark areas were not glossy. And I happen to have quite a bit of their papers - A3, A4 and 4R... haiz... not worth it even though they were much cheaper...
So three questions from me:
1) Where do you usually buy your papers from? I have a hard time finding sizes larger than A4. I want to try A3 and A3+ on my printer as well. Both original Epson paper and other good brands.
2) I'm quite price-sensitive and so am looking for good alternatives to Epson papers and which are cheaper. $10 for 20 sheets of Glossy Photo Paper is still ok. But if there is another brand just as good on Epson inks, please let me know...
3) How do I get the profiles for other brand papers?
Thanks!
