The used ones are going for $450. When the price difference between stores is so large, you'd best be careful. At the least will say haven't add GST in, and when you want to buy, probably say no stock.

just went MS Color yesterday and saw they have quite a few of these in stock. Al least you know where to look for if you willingly to shell out $$$...

Just only 2 days ago, got quoted $550 for a brand new one at funan when i asked. Hence i guess if u're being quoted $450 for a new one, shld just grab n thank yur lucky stars

He posted that the quote of $450 was because:
(a) it is a grey set
(b) it is not available and need to be ordered; so need to wait for unspecified time for stock to arrive

Don't know whether GST is included or not. Most likely not included as this is a typical tactic of such shops.
Most likely this is a bait-and-switch tactic... after putting down a deposit and waiting until impatient, they would ask the buyer to switch to something less or pay more for a local warrantied set instead.
