NiCd batteries have much lower capacity, the advantage is that it can handle really high current discharging. Today's cameras and flashes don't require such high currents to operate so there's little point to pollute the environment with NiCds. :bsmilie:
Oh... If you read his earlier postings, he intents to use the batteries for his kid's radio control car. Such device needs high current discharging for burst of speed.
