Hi kzone, yes the 3-trays can really store more equipments compared to 2-trays. Also, Digihub service is really great:thumbsup: cos I called on last Sat to check it out which "NEW MODEL" shld I buy and within abt 2hrs  my NEW DigiCabi AD-70@$188+FREE one drybox & cleaning kitset+wavefoam)is at my doorstep:thumbsup: (my ext'g 40L+2-silica-type Dry-box still out of storage space for my EOS systems+FZ)
I asked & was told by the person that AD-70 & AD-50 is the NEW MODELS + NEW HIGH-GRADE Dryer use for even faster dehumidifying effect  when compared to those previous models.

Just my point of view;) =that it's ok to buy dry-cabi 1st cos you already know that u r going to get ur cam right:cool: ? Unless if u say u r somewhere like 50-50  of buying ur cam then kiv 1st lol right? Cos that's what I'll do if this is d circumstances:) .

Ya,btw, according to d instruction manual stated to let it run till abt 55%-45% then put in ur cam+equipments so may buy it then ur buy ur new cam.

Thanks.

Not necessary to wait until it is stabilize at 40-50%R (or 45-55%RH). Just buy, bring home (or delivery to your place), plug to power, put your photography gears. Watch the RH and do necessary adjustment.

Arto.

Hi Artosoft, yes u r right too:thumbsup: , cos like subsequence opening(to take cam out & put back) the RH% value will go up again.;)

Thanks

:) .

Also, when you open the door for long time, it is better to switch off/plug out the dry cab power. If the power still run on dry cab, the dehumidifier unit will work for nothing. This could waste the power and lead to leaking. Actually not leaking, the water in dehumidifier unit that should be evaporated is too much until the camber can not hold it anymore.

I just went to Lords and they say that give them a call and they will deliver to the doorstep, even with the small 30L unit. Btw, the 30L Digital display unit was quoted $95:thumbsup:

bought the hd-60l from BIG at $139 but no free dry box.

Guys, which one wud be a better buy?
- AD-70 @ $188 - 3 Trays
- AD-080 @ $210 - 2 Trays

I feel that I can store more things with the 70L since it has more trays... whadya think?

Get DHC-80... no need to turn knob and wait...

DHC pro series is convenient. But both serve its purpose, to bring down humidity inside cabinet to desired level.

Hi,

Just wan to do a check. Sorry to OT a bit. I just bought a 30L DigiCabi from Carrefour at $99 with a free dry box (silicon) included. Inside there's 1 tray, which means that I can put my stuff in 2 levels. Each tray require 4 metal clips to support them but in my box, I found 10 clips!?

So I'd like to check with those who bought from Carrefour, how many trays came with your 30L Digi Cabi? 2 and a half trays? 1 tray with 4 clips? Or is it meant to be some free replacement cos everybody seems to lost the clips easily.
