Adopt from SPCA. They have a lot of animals waiting to be adopted. Save them instead of buying. But do prepare for a lifetime commitment to the dog. Do not get on impluse.

Animals have feelings like human being, who also long to be loved and be part of the family. And trust me, it will bring you lots of joy, especially after a day of hard work.

Bro, SPCA has lots of animals for adoption, and you'd be surprised many of them are good pedigrees too. They do have restriction though - if you live in an HDB flat, then you're not eligible. This is what is stated, but I have talked to the people in charge and found that if you are really keen, can show them you really will love the pet and give it a good home, there is still light at the end of the tunnel.

They do have restriction though - if you live in an HDB flat, then you're not eligible.

No lah, it depends on what kind of breed for HDB flats. Mostly those hyper active / big dogs like Golden Retrievers are not allowed. Smaller breeds is ok. You can go to AVA website to find out about the type of breeds allowed.
