Yeah..I agree with Dagger. The equote price isn't necessary better than prices you get from the guys there...I believe it's the relationship that is built up that determines the discount you get....

As others have said, it depends. I ever just called up asking about stock and confirming the price before going down to get it. And it's cheaper (just tens of dollars though) than the equote price.

Thanks for the "correcting". I can't deny that if you know the sale guys real well, they can give you a cheaper price than the e-quote. I myself knew a few of the guys and bought all my equipments there when I'm in Singapore.

But generally, the equote is still cheaper for those not familiar with the sale guys. There maybe a few exceptions though. Cheers.

of course, no harm getting an equote but they seem pretty slow in responding currently. Have sent one or two early last week and haven't received any replies yet

Erm... the last I heard the D100 is $3550 at J3:16.
I believed the price has come down after the IT Show, guys check with CP or AP again.
