Haha, that's the way we do it here, no choice. Got some people work as:

security guard(Venom69 aka nightshift) at night,
some as Mamasan(Promama),
some laupanliang(yourself lah!),
fence climbing guest(obviousdude),
rich TPY member (JoHO),
Alarm clock (zhapchit aka morningshift),
Afbug (here to watch our soccer channel),
Pinhead aka nailface(Hommie)

All those not in here can fill in yourself
yah,

but it's just so weird to see a totally delayed reply to a message not even intended for the person....

it's fine to comment...

but sometimes, it seems a bit funny to "interupt" albeit a bit late, a conversation....

I think you should try full time. Me started on part-time videography wedding when I was having a full time job too. And man, was it tough! If you have done video editing before or know remotely how editing video goes, you would know that its 10 times the PSing you do now. But it is tough when you have to juggle with a FT job and after work slogging on the computer on extra cash.

When it meant doing a thing which you enjoy on a weekend and a bit of extra cash, slowly wears you down(too much work) and you will feel the interest in Photography waning....... Suddenly it become a meaningless exercise instead of the hobby you like.

But beware of going FT as me as you are likely to going into difference set of problems. Like making ends meet on the hobby you like and unsteady/unpredictable stream of income......

you're absolutely right, but unfortunately giving up a ft job means u also give up an amt of income, and to most, the ft job is the MAIN and STABLE source of income.

anyway.. i'm sure u've been thru this debate.

i think it boils down to: confidence and risk-taking.

care to add more "KPI's"? :bsmilie:

No CPF, no medisave etc.....

Let me be more clear on this. If it is plain risk aka unknown plunge you taking, forget it. If it is base on calculated risk, then I am all for it!

It boils down to the contacts/exposure you have. Is it enough for you to survive long term? :D

why do u think i'm still not ft? ;p

the best guage is the last 12 months. and using that, neh, not time yet.

i'm waiting for the end of the year b4 i do a reassessment. but.. i'm slowly dying.. i dunno if i can endure till end of the year.

it's not exactly too busy. i'm mentally "unstable" from my ft job, let's not even talk about the TIME i spend at work.
