non-apo version. fungus halos on front element, abt 4-5 of them at the periphery, hope to get it fixed before it worsens.

I read your post on "A reminder to all newbies....", and I felt sorry about your recent mishap. :cry:
My advice is to look for Steven Lee of Camera Hospital. The chemicals he uses are mild, so it doesn't strip the coatings. Depending on how bad is your fungus situation, it will take him a week minimum to clean your lens thoroughly. Main thing is, he does a good job and the fungus problem usually ends there. Steven is a Leica user himself.
The rest of the folks just use strong solutions to do a quick job. You don't want to 'injure' your lenses further.
