Hi

.... Yes, the M lenses are possibly the world's best 35mm lenses (sorry Ricohflex, i have a different opinion of the R lenses :P), but nothing quite approaches the tactile FEEL of a Leica M body.....

:)

Hi,
Red dawn

Even $20 el cheapo lens is good enough for me. :bsmilie:
R lens definitely sufficient for me.
Cheap is not always bad, expensive is not always good.

Don't get me wrong but why do you always speak like as if you're reciting bad poetry?

It's not poetry.
It's life.
If you (touch wood) ever suddenly have dread illness or financial ruin.
Then take out this (?) 'bad poetry' and read it again.
It may then have new meaning for you. :)

I'll be sure to keep that at the back of my head. *peace*

A year and some months ago, there was a lovely Nikon 600mm, f5.6 lens in the front window display. I wonder what happened to that?!!

Hi

i agree with u. when i talked about the R lenses, i wasn't coming from the optical quality pov. it's more of the fact that they are bulkier, and wedded to what I perceive to be a dead end system (DMR not withstanding :))
