I expect to pay less for a MIT Vios/Altis. But why is the MIT camera still selling at the same price? No difference it seems.
As a employee yourself, you also expect to get more increments and bonuses every year right?
So the cost saved is extra money for the company to pay all these costs. Directors and shareholders also expect their profits to increase every year, so where does all these money come from? If sales revenue does not increase significantly, they will have to reduce cost in order to survive in the market.
As a consumer, I only care about value. It is not my problem whether they get 1 month or 10 month bonus.
Thats the real problem. If everyobe thinks the same, the economy will be disaster and everyone will be out of jobs, including u and me.

I know u dun work for sony, neither do i. Imagine your customers treats your company the same way.
Given a choice of two similar cameras - one MIJ and the other in MIT for the same price, which would you choose? I will choose the one MIJ.![]()
Put it this way, i would rather buy made in malaysia samsung lcd tv than a made in korea LG ones.
Or a altis over a latio anytime.
We hv to be realistic that eventually most companies hv to shift their production to cheaper place to cut cost in order to survive or come out with better products. If remaining with high cost and still pouring money into marketing whileneglecting r&d, made in japan also no use.
A made in japan camera might be tempting but when there is no major improvements except for bumping up the megapixels count and include useless af-less movies, i would rather pick a made in thailand one with useable lv and 5fps anytime, if u can figure out which company and camera model i am talking about.

Bros...it's the perceived mindset. Where it's made doesn't matter as long as the item you want to buy is made with the same specification. Plastic or magnesium or glass are basic components and is indistinguishable as long as the company adhere with the specs.
Just to sideline abit...people go crazy over iphone and it's made in China. Why nobody go crazy over Sony Ericssonwhich is made in Japan? I just wonder.
