Since Day 1 i stepped into photography,i use Flickr....

Try to get a photo host that display photos without Adobe Flash as I noticed many of my friends around me surfing net on iPhone and we do show the photos around...

I guess many other people also do surf photo gallery on iPhone......

so that you will enlarge your audience base, rather than restricted to Flash capable handsets and PC.

I use flickr non-pro and photobucket non-pro version. Now that my flickr has hit 200 images limit, I just leave it there and do some pictures moving when needed. Currently, most of my recent photos are in photobucket until I hit its free limit :).

flickr only good for community.

Free account is too limited, picasa has better free options.
Paid options, picasa also win with $5usd 20gb.

Sadly, community is very impt for ppl that's why they stay with flickr...

they will probably pester u to renew as early as 2months before your account expires and will continue to do so for another week after it expire. which after it will warn you that your account files will be delete.

Flickr PRO for the win  Syncs easily with my mac's iPhoto. ha

For me, Photobucket and Flickr, both non-pro.

Picasa for the easy conversion and upload from Picasa3 software.
It's too troublesome for me to convert my photos first manually before uploading. Picasa3 does all that automatically and very fast, including add captions, watermark, etc.

Flickr Pro is the Best Sync fast, unlimited upload and people cant download your photo if you wish not too.

Flickr Pro for me too...

anyway, from what i understand, even if you stop subscribing, the older photos are still accessible/searchable.

that technically means, if you tag all your photos with a unique tag, eg, "jason1536", you can still search & view them using www.flickr.com/photos/tags/jason1536/ long into the future without subscribing. i use unique tags for each set created too.

but i'm not sure whether the original/full-sized version can still be downloaded if the user is no longer a subscriber...

picassa and facebook.

i always keep originals in dvd and that is the safest place to store.

Alot of DVD-Rs have very bad shelf life and will degrade after a few years depending on storage condition.
