Flickr is my pick ... go for Flickr promotion : Buy 1 year free extra 3 Months for USD 25 valid till end of Sept 2008.

I'm using Flickr Pro, Photobucket and Multiply...

Yeah. Flickr is good. Worth upgrading to Flickr Pro as well. For me, I'm treating it as an offsite repository (or backup) of my important images (travel pics etc).

:Later,

YeaH! Flickr Pro...

Like someone said in e forum... how to define u are a pro... either by carrying a LowePRO bag or having a FlickrPRO account hahaha!

Flickr gets my vote. Though am still using the basic free setup, it serves me very well.

flickr pro:thumbsup:
easy to use

For the casual hobbyist, flickr basic is good enough. You get 100mb every month. So just make sure you upload to max. =D Definitely sufficient for me and I upload full resolutions as well.

When I shoot more often, I'll definitely consider flickr pro. 2 thumbs up for Flickr. =D

maybe can consider hosting with ur own PC? the downside is u cant turn it off. but if u seldom shutdown u can make gd use of it. just get free DDNS fr sites like www.no-ip.com or www.dyndns.com will do. that time ur limit will b ur own HDD space. ;) another limitation will b ur internet connection upload speed. if its slow others may take some time to load the images fr ur site.

But you can only display max 200 photos right? for the basic account.

I think sooner or later must upgrade to pro hahah

You could just create multiple (free) Flickr accounts.:)

Flickr

But creating multiple accounts may be too troublesome.. As well sign up and get their offer. Btw those who are using/just sign up flickr pro the current promotion is 1 yr free 3 months if sign 2 years got free 6 months or still 3 months?

Though not new to photography, I'm an on-line and internet dummy so please bear with me if my question may sound too fundamental. Having opened a Flickr account, how do I insert photos in forum thread......like this one. I have noticed there is an "Insert Image" button here but clicking it just brings up a dialogue box asking for a url. I gather this is the address where my photos reside in flickr but where do I get this from? Duh!!!!!
