Who is a good source to buy them from?

Whats the going price for a excellent cond Rollei 35s or t?

stake out ebay.. if you are lucky can get for US$150 ++
Singapore 2nd hand tend to be overpriced
unless u settle for non functioning meters
( which is quite ok... if u dun mind either guessing or external meters )
which some shop still overprice too !!

True, but do note, if you are after the 35 that was made in Singapore, most of them won't have a working lexposure meter. I have one, and as the one I have has much sentimental value, but a non working exposure meter, I tried to get it repaired, but no one in Singapore that I could find could repaire it, and I even went to the curent Rollei agent, who told me that they would send it to the factory in Germany, but no guarantee of repair. As such I went in search of a 35 with a good working exposure to use the parts, but could not find a decent one that was not overpriced. So if you cna get one with all the meters working and the slower exposres working as well, go for it, they are few and far between.

what about that lucky chinatown shop? i read on a thread he carries many rolleis.

if you're going to buy on ebay.. do beware that you're likely to get the short end of the stick. i bought a couple of cameras (of lesser value).. items are not always in the condition described, and you'll probably still have to get them fixed/tuned up at a tune that exceeds buying a functioning unit here/elsewhere.

i would say to post an ad at rangefinderforums.. but it looks like the site's been down for a few days.

I have one for sale...great condition and meter works at last check. Let me have your offer!
