Where can I get a replacement NP400 charger?

My charger just died on me. Luckily I still have the VC-7D and can still use rechargeable AA batts. I don't mind if its a 3rd party charger.

May I know how old is your charger when it died ? Did you always leave the charger connected and "ON" all the time ?

Just wondering why it failed ? Cause charger most of the time is lost it rather than failed. :dunno:

kill my normal AA charger with just a lighting strike

Not sure what happened. When I put in a depleted battery, nothing happened. I thought the battery was faulty so changed another depleted battery - still nothing happened. Took the screw driver and opened it - cannot see anything wrong. Guess its one of those things due to poor QC.

Sometimes but not often. Usually during the nights, I will charge and leave it till morning. Other tiems when I forget to pull it out of the socket. Do u think that may be the main reason for the problem?

In my opinion, leaving overnight for charging is ok. But it's best to plug-out when it's not in use. The charger is still working when it's plug-in although there is no battery to charge.
