Where can I buy Zeiss ZM lenses?

Another dumb question, who is the agent for Zeiss lenses in Singapore?

What lens are you looking for? They stock bits and pieces around town.
i have come across several sources,
AP-funan - they have a small range available
Fotographfix - heard his stocks only coming in april

I have not decided which lens to buy.
The 35/2 Biogon stands out for me, but with the introduction of the 35/1.4 Nokton, I am now hesitating on which to get.
The 50/2 Planar and 50/1.4 C Sonnar both sound good too, but it's also hard to decide as the Planar has a shorter min focussing distance and has better macro contrast, at least that is what I have read.
I am also having some difficulty deciding on the wider angled lenses as I should be getting these lenses for a R-D1s and ZI (some point in the future). I have seen how the wide angled lenses vignette on the R-D1s, so I am still doing some research.
So I figured out that I should work out on the costs and benefit of buying in Singapore before I finally decide on the lens.

Yeah, but I don't think I will be going anywhere in the next 6 months. Besides, I am not sure if I will need the warranty at this juncture.

Understand from Wong that Shriro only stocks silver lenses and bodies. Wong more keen on black lenses and bodies but apparently stocks take quite a while to come in. Dun know why take so long as other than the 15 and the 85 the rest should have stocks in Zeiss.
As for warranty, I think for lenses should be OK. But the body is electronic shutter so maybe local warranty is more important. I do come across some complaints on the 50 planar on something loosen on range finder forum. Of all the ZM lenses I used so far no problem but I am not using them in a heavily manner.
I thought u have switch to AF so Contax G2 maybe a better choice.

CV 35mm f1.9 if you do not mind the size or the Biogon 35mm. For a very small and extremely good alternative, the UC-Hexanon 35mm f2. The latter is extremely good for portraits and events involving people.
For the 50mm, I would recommend the C-Sonnar 50mm f1.5. Same reason as above. You get almost a full stop of extra light.
Of course, this is my preference and YMMV.

However, if most of the time the photos involving a few family members then worth considering 25mm and 28mm for the extra depth of field and more margin of errors for focusing.
Yeah, I am gonna eBay that pretty soon even though it is expensive and relatively old in this digital age. I don't believe that another digital rangefinder will be introduced in the next 2 to 3 years at a reasonable price, so I can live with the depreciation.
I am just afraid I might end up with multiple 35 and 50mm lenses, which really isn't too bad a thing. ;p
