atari + centipede. wonder if anyone still remember this game. ;p

anybody remember Super DodgeBall! power!!!! :bsmilie:

Not sure if people can still recall Neo Geo Game System.

Yeah! was one of the expensive console at that time, KOF being most famous, but chosed PC ENGNE over it. Had great games like SERDs. They have good turn base strats

I was 9 when my dad brought home an Atari 2900 set with space invaders and missile command. I was hooked from then on.

Since then, I've been into consoles.

PS - street fighter series, Rage Racer (not Ridge)
PS2 - Tekken series
PS3 - probably never
PSP - I really want one but no time..

XBOX - Project Gotham 2
XBOX 360 - Gears of War, Need for Speed Carbon, Project Gotham 3

I had the same console path as you, but I stopped at XBOX. Sold it no time to play! PC games only ever since.

Nintendo's Captain Tsubasa! My all time favourite! Especially player vs player mode have to guess your opponent's moves if he's tackling, dribbling, shooting, blocking or passing. The animation was pretty good at it's time. All those super exaggerating shooting moves... best record 4 intercepting players and 1 goal keeper got blast off by the shot, got into the goal and penetrate the net. HAHAH seriously, the game's background music was nice. (castleviana's bgm was the best i liked)

Yessssss! I love charging up with my big guy and throwing a rocket ball to KO their little guys ... best part is getting the ball to bounce back into your court after it hits one of them.

These days I don't get to play much console games, but I've got the MAME (Multi Arcade Machine Emulator) filled with >5000 very old to quite new arcade games that are exactly the same as they are in the arcade. Imagine playing Pacman with the exact patterns, Crush Roller, all the incranations of Street Figher, Samurai Warrior, Art of Fighting, the Outrun series, etc, etc, etc... The best part? They're all free

haha, I also liked that game.... the hardest thing (i found) to do on that game was to shoot the ball back after someone shot (as per the comics, confirm penetrate the net also), think I only managed to get it to happen 3 times. never did manage to figure out how to trigger this on a regular basis though... If my memory serves me correct, think there are ard 6 different endings (yes, I played it that many times to unlock all the possibilities of the game, with a logbook to track because of the different options in the game when you win or lose)... i think those days... each comic only $2.50, collected all 37 books of captain Tsubasa before giving them away...

Super Nintendo
Playstation

Cannot remember the games liaoz... too far to remember... first game, super mario brothers 3 heh

hmm if i remember correctly the rebound effect can only achieve by a high skill character, e.g Tsubasa's teammate who's father is an artist, or the one with heart problem (can't remember their names). Choose 3rd option to rebound the shot if opponent shoots, but % of a successful rebound is still quite low. :nono:

I've since switched to handheld games.

Well along the years, a couple of games I remember more fondly are

Castlevania 2 (NES)
Bomberman (NES)
Double Dragon 3: The Rosetta Stone (NES)
Chrono Trigger (SNES)
Romancing Saga series (SNES)
Bahamut Lagoon (SNES)
Secret of Mana (SNES)
Front Mission (SNES)
Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES)
Lufia (SNES)
Streets of Rage aka Bare Knuckles [I, II and III] (MD)
Herzog Zwei (MD)
Golden Axe 3 (MD)
Wani Wani World (MD)
Thunder Force IV (MD)
Vapor Trail (SNES)
Langrisser 2 (SNES)
三国志英杰传 (SNES)
Super Robot War G (PSX)
Tobal No.1 (PSX)
Tales of Destiny (PSX)
Star Ocean: The Second Story (PSX)

As you can see I'm quite a RPG junkie but the games I enjoyed most are actually the ones I played co-op/vs with my cousins and classmates. Playing console alone is half the fun only.
