actually the most annoying is someone see you take photo somewhere, then when you're leaving, the guy go to exactly the same spot, pointing to exactly the same angle, then at night you see at clubsnap that someone post the exactly same photos like your ;)

A lot of annoying situations, most are curious onlookers, and some mishaps I wouldn't blame. However, when you're shooting a theme such as hmm, heavenly being with wings? (happened @ the time I shot my DP which was a few days back), some idiot people came right in front of my model, using his HP cam and try to shoot her, while some squatting down way too close to her, trying to get a shot from underneath.

Pissed the hell out of me.

take his photo and stomp him. call security guard.

People blocking your camera/views while you have taken time to look for a good location, set up tripod.

You prep your gear the night before, double check everything.

Then next day 7-early 8-early you travel to some far far ulu place to set up your tripod. Camera mounted, you press the shutter button.

CCD failure.

Most annoying thing that happened tonite, was when I was focusing my model, adjust her hair, etc on the xmas tree and this india national came standing right in front of my camera, with his kid stepping on my feet, then blocked me completely! Obviously wanted to pose with my model , spent tons on her frock, props, shoes, preplanning, etc)

Annoyed the hell out of me, i asked him to move aside, and told him to give me a minute for a snap, then I'll let him snap, he refused to budge! Asked him the second time, then the 3rd time, he finally moved a little but his big fat arms are blocking my focus, then shoved his kid to pose with my model! That's extremely rude!

I finally signalled my model to move out immedietly.

People should learn some manners, moreso, to at least ask for permission

Last month in London, down to my last piece of bread, trying to get a macro wide angle shot shot of a squirrel. The mobile rang and my uncle (who I dislike) ask to speak to my mother.

"She & Dad went for holiday at Ang Ko Wat , please call her mobile "

"She did not pick up"

"Uncle XXX. I am in London."

"OK, can you tell your mom ..... (nothing important)"

KNS, the squirrel ran off after eating the bread. i kanna pay oversea calls, and I have to info my mom his cow is getting married next year.

There just lots of such people nowadays. Really dunno what is their problem. Like the whole world own them something like that.

I found out that there are also times when you want to take a photo of the crowd coming in head-on whilst your tripod and camera is planted in the middle of the path, say Orchard Road..
The crowd splits.

ever get annoyed by some idiots who keep walking in front of your cam when you are taking photo or set it on long exposure? keep staring at you throughout when you are shooting? standing behind you and keep looking at your lcd? or worst still, knocking over your tripod!!

pal, bear with it.. you are not alone in this planet..

YES I AGREE. Totally ruins my effort of making a point to take photos from perspectives that no one else thinks of.

Most annonying is someone beside me ask what cam and lens I using just before I click the shutter...
Then start to talk about unknown P&S digicam models and their pros&cons..

please la

it's all been done before

don't think that you got something new :bsmilie: everytime i do that, i come home and realise that someone else somewhere in the world is cursing and swearing as he sees my photo on flickr that his effort "of making a point to take photos from perspectives that no one else thinks of" has been ruined :bsmilie::bsmilie:

most irritating is when i shoot cats, especially when they are not so tame

then some silly person will come along and exclaim in the loudest voice in the world

"WAO WHAT A CUTE KITTY"

then i have nothing to shoot already, the cat ran off

what's more annoying than that is the guy's photo is MUCH better than mine, taken from exactly the same spot and same angle.

:bsmilie:

I think this is the most annoying problem
