Hi, errmm well thats hard to say.. first of all you need to find something that really stands out on its own. Second you need to know how to use photoshop. For the majority.. I have to say curves and hue saturation are a god send! If you can master this tools, you have the abilities to make contrast and also to minus away or plus distractions with colour alterations.

Third.. You need good light.. but if you don't have light.. make light.. haha I used an off flash to light up the old man in tai chi boogie cause.. well.. thats what you should really be doing.. getting an image that is different from everyone elses.

Well.. I dunno much more cause I'm really just a beginner in this whole photography thing.. so I'm learning as I go on. =) Coming to my one year anniversary!! Weeee!!

Dragon Dancers

Got woke up at 8.30am in the morning to the loud banging of drums.. and I look out the window to see that a young chinese couple is about to get married..

"Traditional Chinese lion dance and dragon dance are a form of celebration popular at weddings, Lunar New Year, opening of stores and birthday parties. The rich color, lively performance, incredible stunt and dramatic gongs and drums create an unforgettable cultural feast of unique sight and sound.

The modern performing groups offer different packages for weddings. A simple version of the dance may include two or three lions and the band. Depending on the package, they may perform at the reception, or escorts/leads the groom and his groomsmen as they go to fetch the bride from her home. A more elaborate package would include a group of dragon dancers for a parade of movement and color."
