Lost and Found on Smith St

Love can happen anywhere, anytime, on the train, while in the toilet or when watching tv. It is fleeting and it may or may not last.

When it ends you may end up lost in a torrential storm of emotions but you got to hang in there, because it never rains forever.. if it does though.. I hope you know how to swim.

Lost and Found on Smith St = GREAT story telling pic!

When it pours.. Anything can be used as shelter.

Hi Draken, super good pics u'v been taking and editing. Just wondering, what lens do you normally go shoot these street shots with? Some shots have great bokeh, my kit lens can't seem to do that!

Your photoshop skills are very good too.. where do you learn them?

Hello Sammy, Thanks for visiting and commenting on the photos.

normally.. I use 11-16mm tokina and 50mm f1.8 for street photos.. thats probably the only lenses I use anyway.. haha On occasion I use a 70-200 f4l is but the times I use that is much less than the other two lenses.

You can get great bokeh with any lens! The easiest way to do it is to zoom in, open up your aperture (the widest aperture of your lens, perhaps f3.5?) and go in closer to your subject.

But thats not always convenient compositionally and practically so... don't worry about it. A change of lens can help though. Generally wide angles have very little bokeh. longer focal ranges have alot of bokeh.

hiz Draken,

love your shots, simply amazing man.

care to share how you shoot your "Little China"?

this shot looks like miniture "toy/model" feel.

many thanks in advance ;)

Hi thunderrabbit! I did a lot of masking for that one. it's actually made up of 3 or 4 images.

Thanks! i shot the actual scene froma high elevated area and in pp added a lens blur effect also known as tilt shift effect. I also added saturations to make it more toy like.
