What you most desire Nikon to improve on new camera?

how come no one wish that D200 or higher end model cost only 500 bucks and the best and fastest lens cost only $300?

cause many paid for more than 500 bucks for the cam bodies n >s$300 for the lens

existing nikon owners do not wish to see a drop in their current inventory value, would be nikon users can only dream for such situation

i am sure they will be equally happy if new and better lens are more affordable...i own a D50 and if tom the price drops to $100 i would be most happy cos it also means D200 may be $200 or D2X may be $600...

I dont think this is the correct comparison. Computer prices have been falling and it's getting more powerful, thanks to technology but your salary has been steadily increasing (assuming). Can you imagine in early 90s a 286 cost $3000? But now it's many generation later and computer price has fallen so much u could get a most basic machine that is 100 times more powerful for a fraction of the price. That is what i m driving at.

Also digital cam used to cost a bomb. I rem my first cam olympus 2000Z cost $1500. Now D50 cost $1200...who is to say that one day the price wont fall even lower?

we all hv diff priorities and hence even when i earn peanut or many peanuts doesnt mean i must pay big bucks for lenses or cam...i hv no complain when prices are more affordable.
