What type of lense is needed?

haha yes. the focus point is FIXED. and its a really a b**** to have to try and focus by moving your camera. plus if you're not using a tripod you have to stay really still to stay in focus. i recommend getting a proper macro lens, unless you're taking only flowers/inanimate objects.

it's really a pain but you can use monopod to help sikit sikit but i'd rather use a proper macro lens. :bsmilie:

haha i just bought a reversal ring recently, and i think i'll spend that $500 to get a proper macro lens (tamron 90mm?) once i save enough. which might take a long time, since i'm living on a $500 internship allowance that includes travelling to town daily and eating in town.
 

of course la... must have patient! :P

Alternatively, you can use a zoom lens like the 18-55. You can use the zoom ring to 'focus'. Only problem is you got to hold the aperture manually open using the aperture lever because it's a G lens without an aperture ring.. ;pp
