I use a sanfrotto M16.. Its a cute light small haversack.. Suitable for a beginner like me..:D

i'm now using a Tamrac Velocity 7.
like it alot. (maybe coz it's my first camera bag) ;p

i don't see or hear much abt Tamrac...
why is it so? :dunno:

Currently:

2 sling - Crumpler/Lowepro
1 backpack - Lowepro

Looking at adding in one more sling but cannot decide which one. Any suggestions anybody?

Minitrekker AW + Another Lowepro sling bag so old I can't even id the model... found it lurking in some corner of the house and just used it. Works fine but its too small for serious work.

where can i find Tamrac ?
checked CP and MSC dont have.
Is it TK that sells it ?

i bought my Tamrac from Plaza Singapura.
forgot shop name, but i think it's on 3rd floor.

any recommendation for telephoto lens? coz considering either the 300 f/4 or 400 f/5.6 (not the f/2.8 lah:sweat: )
currently using lowepro offtrail, love it for the easy access, but doubt that it can fit in the so-called 'toy' lens. any bag with such easy access design that cater for the tele?
or for tele, not recommended to attach to body while in bag due to the weight and length of the lens? danger of damage?

sling bag
tenba 995 (i think is this model)
tenba metro
canon gift bag

backpack
micro 100
nature trekker

Yeah there's a camera dealer on the upper floors of PS. The shop looks pretty up-market... a few medium format cams on display IIRC. Saw a couple of shelves with bags as well. Didn't go in cos they look like one of those "jacked up prices to pay the rent' outlets. But don't take my word for it... I could be wrong.

i use a Stealth Reporter 400 AW and photo/nature AW trekker for major transport of stuff

any recommendation for a tele?

You can find the Tamrac Velocity 7 & 9 at John 3:16 (Funan Center, 3rd Floor).
I find the velocity 9 to be a good slingbag. Cost price is around $100

Lowepro Stealth Reporter with Harness option. Converts the shoulder sling into a backpack/parachute harness style carry-all. The "quickdraw" top opener makes this a super fast bag for street candids. The dual layer rain protection covers comes in so importantly for all weather shooting.

Slingbag:
Crumpler Budgie Smuggler (for light shooting with one body, one lens, one flash)

Backpack:
Crumpler Farmer's Double (for travelling and heavy shooting with one-two body, 3-4 lens, one flash)

Waistpack:
Lowepro Off Road 2 (for travelling and medium shooting with one body, 3-4 lens, one flash)

Okies,

I read all comments, and have the following questions:

1) Could someone please let me know what the difference between de lowepro slingshot 200AW and 100AW exactly is?

2) I will buy a camera bag mainly for when I'm on my holidays. In August we'll go to Malaysia and Singapore for 5 weeks. I have trouble choosing the right camera bag. I do not have that much lenses and other gear. It only has to hold my camera (350d) and some extra stuff (personal stuff for being on the road for the whole day), so the bag should not mainly be for the camera. I was thinking about buying that SlingShot 200AW (which costs 200SD here in Holland (100 euro's). I did notice that nice Crumpler bag (Budgie Smuggler), and that one looks nice too...

Could anyone help me what to choose? As I said it's mainly for during the daywalks in the cities....

i am using a Lowepro EX180, a Mini-trekker like backpack and a Lowepro Rover AW.

I'm currently using the Lowepro Nova 4 AW. I don't like backpacks as they're troublesome to take equipment in and out quickly and efficiently.

I also use the Lowepro 4AW, good for 1 body, 2-3 lens..... but now more things to put, no more space, don't know what to get......... :dunno: ..........
