Enter the shop & if the layout doesn't change, such straps are located at the bottom of a shelf at the opposite end away from the cashier area. No guarantees about stock though.

can get this at gmarket kr

You spend US$149 for the strap plus about S$140 for the case? Isn't it half the about cost of your LX3?

:) Actually, the case was $130 and well worth the money.

:) The strap was $110 at the time I bought it for my D-Lux3 and well worth the money.

;) Oh yes, and the camera is a D-Lux4, not an LX3, and well worth the money (I paid $125 for it after selling my D-Lux3).

I have a couple of friends who bought Gordy's straps too and also from this singaporean guy who makes the very same straps... i seen them myself and they're the same!!! I think i'll get one from him too since it's more readily available, and cheaper too!

woohoo, just got my wrist strap in the mail today and it really looks good! I compared it with my friend's gordy strap hard to tell the difference except for Andy's red o-ring... :bsmilie:

i'm using a neck strap, Pacsafe Carrysafe 100
http://www.pacsafe.com/www/index.php?_room=3&_action=detail&id=16
the neoprene-ish pad at the neck is adjustable and comfortable, the strap is slash proof and the ends of it can be "quick-released" to go around a pole or something if u need to take timer shots and don't feel quite safe leaving the camera on a dustbin or something.
served me well during my travels earlier in the year and i can say its very comfortable for a camera the weight of lx3 :)

For those who ordered and received gordy's strap, normally how long does it take to arrive?
Gordy emailed me on 10th august, saying that it is on its way. But up till today, the 17th, i still have not received it.

i got the strap in my mail as well, got to say the built quality is really good and i feel confident to sling my LX3 on my wrist with them. Great Job Andrew..

Hi all, do you all get the Lug mount or String for your wrist strap?

Thanks.

I have taken the original neck strap, cut it to a desired length
and sewn the ends of the shortened strap with the string.

:)

Just received the lug mount strap in the mail yesterday.... Thanks Andrew for a well made strap

a quick question, will the metal ring do any damage to the body especially when the strap holder is rectangular and the ring moves about. eg. scratch ?
