What strap do you use for your LX3

Cathay is selling a new Optech strap for compacts. About $28, and it contains a neoprene neckstrap, wrist strap and fingerstrap. 3 straps for $28,

Because of the neoprene material, it's pretty comfy

I also have this strap. I got it from CP Peninsula for SGD25. The hand strap is very useful. I find LX3 a bit heavy for the neck strap

Hi, I'm newbie here, just bought the LX3 a week ago.,could you share the photos for this strap? I just got back from CP Peninsula, it's labeled with SGD 45, is it the same strap we're talking about?

Because I'm interested with one of the Lowepro bags, and quite awkward to ask them the price for that particular thing when they had price label on it, haha...

I think its because the price tags are for the caucasian tourists. and the asking price is for the locals..... :dunno:

Here's my suggestion. Bought this simple wrist strap about 2 years ago for my G7, but it was able to withstand my heavier G7 with no problems. Not sure if still available, but got it from the canon shop in funan. the one that sells canon printers, cameras, pouches... simple and not attention seeking. $10 bucks.

Ignore the bag. Strap is on the right.

The neck SLING looks like an adapted version of that famous "R-strap" slide-up-&-down-contraption right?

Was tinking of the wrist strap originally, but tink it'll look funny if I tried to sling my LX3 from my wrist with its adapter tube & wat-nots attached...on the other hand, the neck strap is rather expensive...ard SGD$60...& I'm unsure if the neck pad(an additional USD$13) is as good as neoprene...

They sure look great, if you check out the gallery on the site. I got the lug-mount wrist strap in black leather with red wax thread. Considered the string one but thought it'd make the overall strap look a little longer, and I prefer it shorter since I have small wrists!

So you got the 7 3/4" lug-mount wrist strap. hmm... i'm just worried about the metal ring wearing out the camera.

Yeah, it was a tough call, and I considered the wearing-out factor too, but I'm hoping it won't be all that bad. In any case, since the LX3 looks slightly retro, if the camera looks a little worn out in time and less than perfect, I'm quite all right with it.
