I always bring along my X-Drive charger whenever i travel. Better be safe than sorry.

That's just one of the problems. Instead of a snuggly CF card, you have to bring an additional bulk around. If only they last like the iRivier HDD MP3 yet has the storage transfer function. That I'll buy!

4GB that's a lot money and not a lot of space u have... ;p I used portable HD along my shots ;)

hmm...not alot of $$ if u are comparing to the price of a 512MB MS DUO card or even to the xdrive (though space is big but too lei chey to bring around :what: )

I believe even if u shoot raw u should get about 300+ pix on the 4GB (but the write speed for the F828 on raw is slow) if just normal jpeg...then can last me for more than enuff on a whole day wedding shoot liao

why should I lug ard 40GB harddrive? :dunno:

You can get an iPOD with a media reader? Stupid reader costs 199 though. Way overpriced for a $20 piece of plastic.

wow! wat a surprise!!! most ppl buy type I CF ?
i got mine Kingston 512M CF 3 months ago. but i m very dispointed as the CF does nt support 30fps video recording. i should have buy type II CF instead ...

There is a difference if you do long exposures. RAW and TIFF has minimal hot-pixels, while my JPEG looks horrendous.

Anyone taking TIFF or RAW shots on you 828? A large CF card would be needed for this.
