At first I only uses Lightroom to edit and organize my photo when I was shooting Jpeg. However, now I am shooting RAW and find that somehow the photo appears very pale in LR as compared to when I open the RAW file is DPP. Any tips on why is this happening?
Therefore now my workflow is much complicated than before.
Camera --> DPP (RAW) for WB tunning and some basic stuff (cos still learning) and then export to TIFF format (to be import to LR later).
DPP --> Lightroom (TIFF) for more editing as I am already very used to the functions of LR
After editing, I will export the TIFF to Jpeg.
This work flow is eating up a lot of hard disk space as the file size of TIFF format is really huge!
For organizing, I usually organize by folder being named as YY_MM_Event Name. At the same time, I will rename the file name to include the date that the picture was shot.
