still using the ancient S9000 ;p most photos are framed and kept in office. ok so far.

Hahaha, me too.. Dun look down on the S9000 worz... the prints that I print out these days on the Canon Photo Paper Pro still quite solid. Also use the Epson 2100, sharp prints with great colour accuracy... unlike the S9000,though it has better colour saturation hehe^^

Did a series of test before.. used Canon 6 series, 8 series & 2 other 3rd party inks..
Then we crossed it with using original Canon paper, and some other 3rd party papers..

Pasted the prints on the window for 3 months.

The 3rd parties have faded to <50%
The canon 6 series with original paper was at about 85%
The canon 8 series with original paper was >95%

Didn't do any measurements or scientific tests.. just looking and comparing the prints..

Haha ... so far I have no intention to have them printed for 2 simple reasons.

1. No space to keep them.
2. No quality work, print for what?

:D
 :bsmilie:

I am using HP B9180 for printing big pieces. For large quantity of 4R, it will be photo lab. :D
