I'm surprised that I didn't reply here before :)

For 4R proof printing: Epson PGPP & PSPP. They are reasonably priced, about S$0.21-0.23 per piece.

For A4, Matt - Epson Archival or Enhanced Matt or Ilford Smooth HWM, Luster - Ilford Smooth Pearl, Glossy - Ilford Smooth Gloss, art paper - trying out Hahnemuhle Albrech Durer and White Etching

For A3/A3+, Ilford paper and possibly Hahnemuhle art paper...

Does anyone here print on canvas? Saw some nice large canvas prints at Ikea and wanted to do the same for my room... print it on canvas, and then stretch mount on wooden frame for hanging.

Hahnemuehle Canvas Artise and Canvas Satin are available at Cathay Photo.
They come in both A4 and A3 size.

Please look for Michael.

Steering off a little but I do need help urgently: Where in Singapore can I get two boxes of Iford multi-grade 4 resin-coated (10 x 8) paper sent to Vietnam?

All brands have an archival matte paper... this is what u are looking for.

Alternatively bring the paper to a photo shop like Cathay and ask them for something similar.

Hi Watcher, any idea which 3rd party papers are good for Epson's Ultrachrome inks? I am using a R1800.... I prefer to print in semi-gloss without Gloss Optimiser... I am currently using Epson semi-gloss premium A4 and Ilford Pearl A4... Is the Smooth Pearl same as Pearl? Where can I find Epson Enhanced Matte A4?

Was over at Funan this afternoon, there're plenty of A4 Epson Archival Matte at Challenger and Inforcom at 4 flr. Both stores have close to 30 packs each.

Juz wanna conduct a poll, what photographic papers do u guys use generally and why?

I use Epson Archival Matte most of the time. The canned profile is just right for my Epson R1800. I like the rendition and tone that give the pictures a "fine-art" quality. This quality is especially effective if you take portraits with soft-focus..real dreamy & arty :)

Archival matte is also thick and heavy which my old-fashioned wet darkroom days mindset is biased towards :bsmilie: Haven't had a chance to try Hahnemühle. Saw sample prints on their velvet paper...real cool but EX! :o

Trying out a couple of Mitsubishi glossy papers now.

I must say that I'm pretty impressed by the immediate drying feature on the paper (yes, it really dries immediately. I'm not joking). Colours are quite good and looks similar to my screen with minimal bleeding. No branding are visible to my eyes (maybe I'm getting tired. I'll check again tomorrow).

Quite impressed I must say. :)

Can i know where to get the Mitsubishi glossy paper?? Price?? Thanks!!:)

south asia computer used to have. if they dont they have other series too.

mitsu paper looks good, dries instantly, water proof, currently my fav but one thing to note.. its not blue tack proof.. i.e. if you were to accidentally drop blue tack on it and remove the blue tack, there will be some.. pigment loss stuck on the blue tack
