Minolta QTsi
Maxxum 7000 on the way from Evilbay, haha. ;p

I added my dead X300 to the survey. It belonged to my dad actually but its fungus-infected now so he doesn't want it any more. I would have loved to use it now that I actually understand how to use it properly. He used to do all the settings and pass the camera to me for use as a point and shoot, except for manual focusing.

I hope that film is still around when I get to pass my cameras down to my kids. It feels special to use a camera that actually recorded your whole life.

Me, the one and only Minolta brand owned Camera is my SLR X700 with lens 35-70mm. It have been lying at the dark corner of my dry cabinet for the past ten over years. Just checked recently, no fungus, still look mint and also under utilised. Think it should be still functional, it is time for me to test to shoot with it.

Good old SRT 101b with CLC, comes in handy when I cant find a hammer (after my folk borrows it and misplaced it again) to nail some shelving, or when I cant find my 15" spanner aka "persuation tool", cheers

i have the white-bodied Dynax 8000i

X700 - my first SLR.

7000i - 1990
500si - 1995
800si - 1998 This is a tough fellow, went to Arctic with me and survived!
A1 - 2002
All except 800si and A1 died...
Didn't like 5D and 7D so waited....
Naturally I go with Alpha now....having A900 and A350...thinking of converting the latter to IR as the guy at Camera Hospital said A1's sensor too small for good IR conversion.

recently got a minolta maxxum 5xi from my dad together with 35-70 lens.
Love this cam alot.
bought at 1995 and is still at mint working condition.

I have the following:

1. Minolta 3xi (spoilt & retired years ago)
2. Minolta 404si

Love them to bits! Will most likely keep them for generations to come and show my great-grandchildren when I'm 80. :bsmilie:
