What makes you have interest in photography?

Coz I am the one shooting and not the one being shot. :bsmilie:

Always love to document scenes and how everyday images can be interesting at times. So from a small Olympus zoom 80 (film PnS), I progress to learning on a fren's SLR and later a DSLR. It was only when the D200 came out, then I finally managed to better myself in terms of my photography knowledge.

Now just downgraded back to a PnS again, Canon S95 for a lightweight and simple snap tool.

I shoot mainly to preserve the good memories that I have experienced, be it family time or vacation trips.
As I grow older, I suddenly feel the need to capture more shots of mine parents so that when the inevitable end comes those photos will be mine source of visual comfort.

1. To record & store memories of loved ones growing up/getting old.

2. Initially thought getting a DSLR means I can get to shoot better IQ pictures. End up investing in the system and continually honing my technical and artistic skills. Force me to think out of the box sometimes.

3. The only way to shoot without using weapons after finish NSmen life. Get to snipe at many objects.

4. Have reasons to go to exotic places.;p

I wanna capture the moments, of my friends, famillies.. for those moment only happen once.
And to also share beautiful pictures with people =)
