What kind of hood, filters for K-x kit lens?

The bayonet one cost so much more for a piece of plastic. but its easier to attach/remove though. i bought e $5 screw type.

i also bought a screw on type.
But pardon me. i don seem to get it fixed up.
i got the correct size 52mm.
can anyone advise ?

it has a screw thread. you put the hood in the same thread where you screw in the filter. if you're 18-55 kit lens doesnt have a thread, then im afraid you bought a fake kit! XD

Yea its supposed to have the screw thread , even your filter has one , maybe it is your lens or are you using a fisheye which also dosent have a screw thread...

my kx is a len kits. 18-55 & 55-200 mm DAL.
both lenses don have thread !

errrrr yes they do have filter threads.. see it even says 52mm on the lens itself

confirm got 1 leh . Unless u got a filter that doesn't have thread on it.

its an inside thread by the way. if you look at the picture of K-x above, thread is just below the print Φ52mm

No It can't be used,
55-300mm Kx kit lens uses 58mm hoods.

55-300 uses 58mm hood.The one you mentioned is 55mm

1)There are lots of types of filters.Screw on/square...

2)There's no polaroid filter.I suppose its polarizing filter?UV is ultra-violet(to block sunlight?)

3)Any camera shops and CS mass sales.Just make sure you don't get chopped(from camera shops).Best is to get from mass sales
