wow, you all got so deep thoughts on photography. i dun have, i just take pic of what i like loh. :embrass:

also, help my friends and family take pic of events and themselves.

simple. i dun think too much one :embrass:

Hmm... My ultimate goal?

To take good pictures so that I can have something good to look back when I grow old with white hair sitting in da rocking chair. At least I can tell my grandchildren, "Look, ur Grandfather did this/been here."

MY GOAL ?

Is to make myself be happy with photography that none other sports and hobby can give me . The waiting for the object , the visualize of composition , the composition time and finally the trigger of the shutter sound all makes me feel so shiok and happy ... better still after the hardwork people say yr photo is nice its really priceless !

Conclusion ... to be a happy photographer !

hi friend, relax. nobody starts as a great master. Pro Image taught me the studio works, ask him how bad my first studio shoot was. The entire roll was sent to the trash can. Ask Male_Model how bad the first TFP I did for him, he almost hated me for the rest of his life. But I learned from my mistakes and improved since. I am still not very good yet, but have improved.

Don't think too much about what others will think, follow your own thoughts. if others disagree with you, then just discuss with them honestly, frankly & politely. Relax, and you'll have better results.

Well into the trash bin it maybe....but after that first roll, you have improve a whole lot better. Photography is still very new to me.....even after 17 years. Everyday learn new mistakes....but the mistakes I made, made me a better photographer. Just enjoy your photoshoot.....don't think too much as there isn't a really whole lot of time for you to think and get inspire!

Interestingly, existentialism doesn't really states anything. There are a few line of thinking within existentialism, and most will point back to Satre's claim of "existence before essence". To put existentialism as a doctrine with definitions that atomises to elements of "choice, freedom and existential angst" seems to go against the spirit of existentialism.

Because of the diversity of positions associated with existentialism, the term is impossible to define precisely. Certain themes common to virtually all existentialist writers can, however, be identified. The term itself suggests one major theme: the stress on concrete individual existence and, consequently, on subjectivity, individual freedom, and choice. :)

so the one in the photo is judy, patricia or gale?

dun forget you have to hold the incense erm i mean the reflector during the shoot.
:nono: never hold the reflector in front of them.. it'll make their opacity drop and someone will accuse you of PS-ing them onto the bg.

hey, how are you, mate? somehow i think you get the sequence wrong. the proper sequence should be:

get out of this country -> make tons of money from photography & become super famous ;p

To me, it's another form of creative expression. Express your own thinking, views and perspectives in the form of photos. Capture your thoughts at that moment and reflect it in your photos. Create a style of your own.

;p

To take nice pics?

Ha ha..

..then get excited and show the pics to everyone ... only to find out much later that it isnt that great.. he he

seriously... its just the therapy effect of being happy that u done something nice...

When I get paid, I get even happier... :D

My Goal?

My wife was the one who got me into photography. She wanted a lot of memories so I was always taking pictures of her using a point & shoot camera.

As I slowly progress, (and I mean real slow), my passion grew and now my goal is to let people see things that they would usually not see or observe in daily life.

I am a simple guy who like to live simple. My only greatest console is to get out of the monotonus lifestyle and immerse myself in my camera's viewfinder.:)
