What is your favourite DOMKE bag?

So will the canvas bags be subceptible to Mildew and Mould as well?

I have my J2 for a few months.. left there on opened shelf.. only used once.. no mould leh...
Think everytime you come back for shoot.. wipe it clean and leave it out to dry.. it will last a lifetime :sweatsm:

actually Domke canvas is very "hard"... maybe for prolong usage or washing it will go soft. The metal buckle got a black paint.. but will get scratched overtime.. don't know whether will rust or not.. I have not reach that lao qiao stage yet :bsmilie:

dimension wise they are quite similar.
the configuration inside is slightly different. so is the side pockets design/size..

Try The Camera Wokshop...they sells Safrotto bags which are as good as Domke.

Any news on the J3 perhaps? Intending to get that because it seems a little larger than the F-3X (and yes I prefer the muted Domke word. I go anywhere with my Stealth Reporter and get asked the same question: "is that a camera bag?". So much for stealth...:sweat: )

J3 is slightly bigger than F-3X. CP should have stock. Why not you email them and ask for e-quote. They should reply you within a day :thumbsup:

hi there, i got the F2 Ballistic(made in USA though) for more than 10 years..i'd say it's very lasting, even the velcros in every pockets still function. but bear in mind buckles will get rusty once the paint peeled off. finally decided to shower this domke last year before a trip.. the cloth part got discoloured after the washing..ballistic part wash or no wash remain the same. my 2 cents

yup.. Domke is not cheap... :bsmilie: you may also look out for 1 in B&S... but it worth every cent.. just like an L :sweatsm:
