What is your favorite photo editing software

strangely enough, i have not the foggiest idea how to use other photoediting software other than PS... been using it for like 8+ years now.

I am the el-cheapo one here using PS 5.0 Limited Edition that came free with my Acer 2720s ScantWit Film scanner.

The biggest problem is what to use , if there is one need to step down from the PS !!!

You can have for home use , as many copies of it , but when you start up one business , and you need to pay for it , everything is changing ..

I only have Irfanview and I am using it. :cry:

But I'll recommend it to all.
Very versertile.

Also can compress image memory without affecting quality. Use it as interface to save pic, the file size goes down.

Qimage is reasonably priced and provides better resolution prints on inkjet printers than PS. But it does not do all the tricky stuff that PS does. Depends what you want. If you want really sharp pics and in different sizes, quickly and easily, I recommend Qimage.

Another plus, when you email questions, the actual designer of Qimage replies. You don't get some cluless soul who looks thru the Q/A rompt screens for an answer to your email.
