1. King Tiger : 8 min 25 seconds (1993 result)
2. lieu9310 : 8 min 30 sec (1986), now may be 1 hour
3. Big_lan : 6min 45 sec (2000, OCS service term)

My OC did 5min 55sec

i thought the 5.55 guy is the commander BMTC? the SOF, who is also best trainee in US marines? look at his badge on the right hand side of his number 4.

Yes, I also do model kit for Tamiya Tiger I, and also King Tiger (Tiger II) during my secondary schools days.

Recall back the old memories, buy paints, brush, alot of patience and time to complete a masterpieces.

Look out on my new thread on Tiger I at Kopitiam.

Hi all

If you all happen to notice, the most relax timing (1~2 seconds only) during S.O.C., is the double bar where you hold the top bar and swing your body down to hold the bottom bar, this is the most relax moment of all the SOC duration. :D

tot its my platoon sgt who holds the record
think he did 5.55 (holds the record for 10km SOC as well but someone broke his record)
he is SOF but not commander BMTC leh
best trainee for US marines? Navy Seals? (that guy is a specialist leh not officer)

no leh..the most relak time during soc is either when u jump down the ramp or when u r going down the jacob ladder :bsmilie:

if not wrong that best trainee for the green beret is frm the same intake as i when i went for SOF selections back in 1996. he was already a captain, commando, nus grad. and SAF schoolar when i meet him. A very nice guy indeed. think his name is k*****

I think the most relief time is after the ramp the last one, after u junp down take a deep deep :sweatsm: breath there u go 4 the last 700mm or 800 forgotten...Anyway me i still have my M113 apc tank fitting half way 18 years ago... anyone out there want to buy   No lah sentimental values

SOC to me equals nightmare
my best timing was 8 mins flat
now cant run anymore cuz i'm fat

For IPPT, we can get $100, $200, and $400 depend on the points.
What happen if SAF introduce new scheme to encourage NS men more fitter?
Let say new incentives for S.O.C. test,
10.00 mins -$1000
9.30 mins - $1500
9.00 mins - $2000
8.30 mins - $2500
8.00 mins - $3000
7.30 mins - $3500
7.00 mins - $4000
6.00 mins - $5000 plus waiver of incometax :D

Maybe, SAF soldiers will be one of the fittest armed forces in the world. :sweatsm:
