What is a good price for 5D?

I wish to buy a 5D even though I hear that there's going to be a 7D coming out in the pipeline next Feb.

Can anyone give an update on the 5D's price in Singapore and which shop has it? Many thanks.

Many thanks but I was hoping the prices have fallen given that Canon USA offers rebates of US$600 (double rebate) on the 5D. Must keep my credit card away from my itchy fingers till the 7D arrives!:cry:

No offence meant but I'm sure you can do with a replacement for your 10D with a 5D.

If I don't need it why replace? My point is get what you need. If you really need it, even though it cost $6K, it is worth buying. If you don't need it, spending even $3K on it is still consider as very expensive!!! Anyway not using 10D anymore......

I was at ap sls last sat and they say they don't have gray set. And is price is just $200 or so below the price of local set.

Alan Photos at SLS first floor. In HK and BKK, 5D prices have dropped around S$4k as well. I hope a new model could come soon with not more than 12MP priced at sub-4k. The most important things to me are: low noise at high ISO, wider dynamic range, and accurate white balance.
